Business Controller - Compressor Technique Business Area (Customer Center)

Are you a strategic thinker with strong financial expertise?
We are looking for a Business Controller to lead business control activities and support management with accurate analysis, digital tools, and strategic insights to drive sustainable, profitable, and inclusive growth.

In this key role, you will be responsible for financial reporting, data analysis, and performance monitoring, ensuring compliance with Atlas Copco Group standards and local regulations. Your insights will guide business decisions, contribute to cost optimization, risk management, and support business development.

Key Responsibilities

Business Control, Strategic Planning & Risk Management

• Lead financial planning and forecasting processes, ensuring strategic alignment and transparency.
• Develop analytical tools and risk indicators to support proactive decision-making.
• Provide financial insights to optimize costs, allocate resources, and support growth initiatives.
• Identify risks and opportunities, raising flags when needed to protect performance.

Digital Transformation & Business Intelligence

• Promote the use of digital tools to automate processes and enhance financial transparency.
• Develop BI dashboards and reports to support operational monitoring and decision-making.

Governance, Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with IFRS and Group policies.
• Guarantee compliance with legal requirements and internal procedures.
• Strengthen internal controls and authorization frameworks (Prokura), ensuring audit-readiness.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of financial systems and tools.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• University degree in Finance or Economics.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in business control, finance, or administration, preferably in an international industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory regulations.
• Solid understanding of Italian accounting and tax compliance.
• Experience in audits and in internal control processes is a plus.

Technical & Digital Skills

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems and BI tools (SAP, Power BI or similar).
• Strong digital competence and familiarity with automation and reporting tools.

Languages

• Good command of English and Italian, both written and spoken.
