Following the plan to buy a new company in Italy in Customer center Compressor Technique, we are now looking for a dedicated Business Controller for acquired companies.

The Business Controller for acquired companies will play a key role in integrating and strengthening the financial and administrative operations of the company and will be part of the Management Team, taking full responsibility for the controlling and reporting function.

 

Responsibilities

In this role, you will proactively drive the financial and administrative integration of the company, ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining operational agility.

You will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with IFRS and The Way We Do Things. Establishing a solid group reporting process will be a key priority, but also you will identify the necessary policy and process adjustments to align with the Atlas Copco Group standards.

Beyond reporting, your insights will play a crucial role in business decision-making. By developing analytical tools and providing data-driven recommendations, you will help guide the company’s strategic direction and support the successful execution of the synergy plans outlined in the acquisition model.

Your ability to assess business trends and raise financial red flags when needed will be essential in safeguarding the company’s financial health.

 

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance or Economy.
  • Minimum 5 years in a leading role in business control, finance, or business administration.
  • A solid understanding of Group accounting principles, IFRS, and local statutory regulations is essential, experience with ERP systems will be an advantage.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office, and solid digital competence.
  • A team player who interacts with and unites team members, and all stakeholders.
  • A methodical and structured achiever who can plan, organize, prioritize, adapt, and deliver on commitments.
  • A resilient person who can cope with change in an ever faster-moving digital landscape.
  • An innovative “there is always a better way" person with a positive, flexible, and responsive mindset who comes with solutions and suggestions for optimization.
  • Good knowledge of English, written and spoken
  • A willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
