Site Manager

Your Role
The Site Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and operational management of the Innovative Vacuum Solutions (IVS) service facility. This role provides single-point accountability for all site activities, including operations, planning, scheduling, customer satisfaction, quality management, safety compliance, financial performance, and personnel development.
The Site Manager ensures the site consistently achieves operational excellence, meets or exceeds budgetary objectives, delivers exceptional customer service, and maintains full compliance with all applicable quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement, and operational efficiency while supporting the strategic goals of IVS.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and accountability for site operations and service center performance.
- Direct and coordinate all operational activities, including planning, scheduling, workflow management, inventory control, and service delivery.
- Ensure efficient utilization of labor, equipment, and resources to maximize productivity and profitability.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for customer experience and service delivery.
- Ensure customer commitments are met regarding quality, responsiveness, and delivery performance.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Develop strong customer relationships that support long-term business growth and retention.
- Maintain compliance with Edwards Vacuum quality standards and applicable customer requirements.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and all relevant quality management system requirements.
- Drive a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Lead corrective and preventive action initiatives to address operational and quality issues.
- Promote a strong safety-first culture across all site activities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and company health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain adherence to ISRS requirements, Edwards site licensing requirements, and environmental management standards.
- Conduct regular safety reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure employees receive appropriate training and maintain compliance certifications.
- Lead, coach, develop, and motivate site personnel to achieve business objectives.
- Establish clear performance expectations and accountability throughout the organization.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development planning.
- Promote employee engagement, teamwork, and a culture of continuous learning.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
- Ensure site operations comply with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions as required.
To succeed, you will need
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and industry experience will be considered.
• Leadership experience in service operations, manufacturing, industrial services, or related technical environments.
• Experience managing operational budgets and financial performance.
• Proven success leading teams in a customer-focused service organization.
• Experience with quality management systems, continuous improvement methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong financial and business acumen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, operational excellence, and continuous improvement principles.
• Proficiency with ERP, service management, and business reporting systems.
• Understanding of vacuum technology, industrial equipment service, or related technical industries preferred.
