Role:
The customer order specialist is to provide routine and on-going support to the sales team, customers, production team, field service & other Trillium sites.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review all sales quotes against orders for accurate & complete information
- Date entry: Accurately enter customer purchase order information into the sales system
- Support clients through phone calls, email, mailings, fax and training events to ensure satisfaction and an ongoing relationship
- Direct customers to appropriate people for support questions
- Coordinate customer service & warranty returns
- Prepares customer info packet included with service product
- Collaboration between sales, customers, field service and production
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential
duty satisfactorily.
- Highly detail oriented
- Strong date entry skills and the ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, and percentages
- Ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal format.
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
- Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment.
- Ability to foster communication among colleagues/team members in manager’s absence
- Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and flexibility
- Ability to operate telephone, photocopier, fax machine, mail machines and computer workstation
- Must be proficient in MS Office software – Word, Excel, Power Point
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- College or specific relevant coursework preferred
- Industry experience preferred
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret written document
- Ability to respond in a professional manner to common inquiries
- Ability to prepare reports, and write business correspondence
Wage: $23.00/hr
