As a Field Service Engineer II you will be responible for maintaining production equipment in a highly precise manufacturing environment. This position entails accomplishing all preventative maintenance, unscheduled maintenance and installations on a variety of vacuum, temperature control and exhaust management systems. Maintaining and replacing equipment, tools, and supplies when used, providing written documentation of repairs, palletizing/depalletizing equipment and interfacing with the customer. Regular travel, generally by car, to different semiconductor fabs is a standard part of this field of service role.

Including the following, other duties may be assigned.
- De-palletize and preflight vacuum pumps for use by the customer.
- Experience working on gas and chemical abatement equipmen including experience with scrubber and burn abatement.
- Proficient in working around gas and chemical byproducts, piping, blowers and fluid pumps.
- Perform vacuum pump preventative maintenance.
- To troubleshoot, diagnose, and remedy where possible field equipment faults and errors.
- Deinstall failed pumps and install rebuilt pumps.
- Prepare vacuum pumps for shipment.
- Work with customer personnel to troubleshoot vacuum issues with chambers, fore lines and vacuum pumps.
- Proficient in trouble shooting electronic components, sensors, switches, control read outs, and PLCs.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Gas Abatement Systems.
- Use proper PPE to work in the vicinity of hazardous materials.
- Collect, develop, and formalize information for proposals of all replacement and repair opportunities and forward to the Regional Field Service Manager
