Your role

The mission for this role is to lead global supply chain operations for a thermal management solutions team. This role will oversee logistics across multiple regional distribution centres, manage safety stock levels, and ensure seamless coordination with manufacturing partners. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in supplier qualifications, strategic sourcing, and operational excellence in a global environment.

 

Your main respoinsibilities will be:

 

  • Global Logistics Management:
    • Oversee and optimize logistics operations across multiple regional distribution centers.
    • Ensure timely and cost-effective transportation and distribution of sold products worldwide.
  • Inventory & Safety Stock Control:
    • Develop and maintain safety stock strategies for all distribution centers while working with product management on forecasts for future demands.
    • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and minimize excess stock.
    • Ensure yearly global cost rolls are accurate and correct
  • Manufacturing Coordination:
    • Set and manage priorities for global manufacturing partners to meet demand forecasts.
    • Collaborate with supply partners to align schedules and capacity planning.
  • Supplier Qualification & SESPA Evaluations:
    • Conduct SESPA (Supplier Evaluation and Supply Performance Assessment) for supplier qualifications.
    • Ensure compliance with quality, reliability, and sustainability standards.
  • Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development:
    • Identify and onboard new suppliers for equipment and materials supporting thermal management solutions.
    • Negotiate contracts and build long-term partnerships to secure competitive advantages.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Implement best practices in supply chain processes, risk management, and cost optimization.
    • Drive initiatives for operational efficiency and global scalability.

Do you have: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in global supply chain and logistics management.
  • Strategic thinker with a global mindset.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools
  • Experience with SAP is as an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, safety stock strategies, and manufacturing coordination.
  • Experience with SESPA evaluations and supplier qualification processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with thermal management solutions or related industries is a plus.
  • Fluent spoken and written English essential; skills in other languages used in major Edwards markets is an advantage.

This role requires you to work on-site at our Product Company in Clevedon, UK. You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
Some international travel is required to fulfill this role (visiting suppliers, etc)
