Your role

We’re launching a new, agile TMS business unit in the UK to accelerate innovation and transform how we serve the semiconductor market. Our Smart TMS portfolio is gaining strong traction with US and EMEA customers, and we’re driving major improvements in supply chain agility, lead times and operational performance. As Senior Product Manager, you’ll shape the strategy and future direction of this high‑growth product range, combining global resources with startup‑style creativity and pace. Main responsibilities:

  • Network within the global customer centers to elevate the mindshare of TMS, promote sales of existing products and gather feedback for the future NPI/CIP roadmap.
  • Support US BDM to grow aggressively in US by developing end user & third-party installer/agent relationships.
  • Initiate and lead the development of comprehensive product plans & pricing strategies that will protect and grow our market share while delivering business case returns at the agreed level of profitability.
  • Optimize NPI efficiency and effectiveness through roadmaps which are well aligned with market inputs, minimize segment gaps and are aligned with engineering to be achieved in the minimum number of project steps.
  • Develop and maintain effective processes for the regular monitoring and countering of competitor strategies.
  • Ensure Unique Reasons to Buy and clear value propositions are established and effectively used by Customer Centres; initiate related communication activities, particularly in thought leadership, sales collateral, B2B direct marketing and training.
  • Collaborate and negotiate with management and engineering teams of multiple Product Companies in several countries to ensure that the TMS product portfolio is well represented as a component of choice within our other products.
  • Support definition of potential processes and tools to support product management.
  • Work closely with Emerging Technologies teams on future innovations to provide commercial perspective.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical subject such as, engineering, or physical sciences (physics/chemistry), or significant additional experience in lieu of academic / professional qualifications. Evidence of learning and profesional development in business management and marketing.

 

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience within technical product manufacturing industry ideally including a minimum of 3 years in sales/marketing roles such as Product Management or Sales/Business Development; other experience could be in Applications, Project Management, Market Management, Technical Support etc. Experience of the products, applications and markets relevant to Edwards semiconductor business is highly desirable.

 

  • Proven track record in generating and executing marketing strategy is highly desired. In Lieu of this, evidence of coachability and eagerness to develop throughout interview process could be sufficient.

 

  • Demonstrated ability to work confidently and effectively with board members and negotiate effective outcomes with BLMs and General Managers across the business. Able to demonstrate good personal organisation, excellent use of influencing skills and fluent use of office software. Familiarity with engineering organisation practices, disciplines, systems and software tools an advantage.

 

  • Fluent spoken and written English essential; skills in other languages used in major Edwards markets is an advantage.

Job location

Ideally, this role is hybrid allowing you to balance working remotely and being on-site at our Clevedon PC in the UK. However, it could be based in US or Korea for the right candidate if already located there.

 

Considerable international travel is required to fulfill this role. (Approximately 25%).
