Your role

The mission of the Marketing and Communication Manager is to develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that drives business growth through lead generation via web, campaigns, and e-commerce.

This role involves budget planning and campaign management, leading internal communications to enhance employee engagement with all Customer Centre initiatives, and strengthening the brand presence.

This includes the responsibility for the structure and tools of internal and external communication and ensuring they are aligned to the strategic objectives of the General Vacuum divisions and brands. 

This role is responsible for shaping the structure and tools of both internal and external communication, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the Vacuum Technique divisions and brands.

The position will contribute to achieving the Customer Center’s revenue targets by playing a key role in conveying the brand message to customers and differentiating Leybold from its competitors.

The role reports to the General Manager of the Leybold EMEA Customer Center.

It requires close collaboration with Business Line Managers (BLM), Sales and Divisional Communication Managers in relation to market communication.

Additionally, the role places strong emphasis on internal communication and actively promotes employee engagement.

•    Vacuum Products Knowledge: Understanding of Leybold brands and products.
•    Organizational Experience: Experience in a decentralized matrix organization, with knowledge of GV divisions.
•    Sales and Marketing: Proficiency in sales, marketing, and digital tools; Showpad, Sprout, AEM, HubSpot, and C4C. 
•    People Management: Proven experience in managing people and teams
•    Location: Preferably based within the geographical location of the Customer Centre 
•    Language Skills: Fluent in English (oral and written); additional languages are a plus
•    Marketing Qualification: Professional qualification in Marketing or equivalent experience
•    Creative Skills: Basic skills in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, web publishing tools, and social media
•    MS Office Proficiency: Excellent skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel
•    Customer Success: Ability to deliver customer-centric solutions
•    Business Acumen: Use industry knowledge to drive business results
•    Self-Leadership: Embrace challenges, persist through obstacles, and model a growth mindset
•    Team Collaboration: Foster collaboration and team spirit
