Flex Trainee Operations

Your role
As a Flex Trainee Operations, your mission is to support key operational projects across the Scientific Vacuum Division
while building a deep understanding of global manufacturing, technology development, digitalization, and operational excellence through international rotations.

Participate in international project rotations and contribute to operational improvements across multiple Product Companies

Support Lean / VTPS initiatives by analyzing processes, preparing structured problem-solving activities, and helping improve site performance

Contribute to digitalization and manufacturing technology projects, including data analysis, dashboards, pilot tools, and proof-of-concept activities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Operations, and IT teams to support project execution and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
- Prepare analyses, reports, and decision-relevant materials to support management reviews and global operations leadership discussions.

You have 1-2 years of experience, working in an operations, engineering, manufacturing, or digital/technical environment (e.g. through internships or working student roles).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Very good command of English and a strong analytical, structured working approach.
- Interest in production, manufacturing technologies, digitalization, and data-driven decision-making
- Basic knowledge of Lean, digital tools, or manufacturing processes is an advantage
- Openness to international assignments (approx. 40–60% over two years) and intercultural collaboration.
