Flex Trainee VTS (m/f/d)

Your role

As a Flex Trainee in Vacuum Technique Service (VTS), you become part of a global team shaping the future of digital service solutions. You’ll work hands‑on with data, automation and AI technologies, helping to turn complexity into smart, scalable solutions that support our service organization worldwide. This role offers flexibility, visibility, and the chance to contribute to multiple impactful projects from day one.

What you’ll work on

• Co‑create a central troubleshooting ecosystem by connecting data sources and improving structure, metadata, and usability
• Support Agent Joy, our internal GPT‑based AI assistant connected to SharePoint
• Test, challenge, and improve AI responses for high‑quality results
• Enable data connections using simple APIs and MCPs
• Build small scripts for data extraction and processing
• Design smart, lightweight automation flows (e.g. Power Automate)
• Translate data into insights through KPIs, dashboards, and analytics
• Contribute to rollout activities, documentation, and user training

To succeed, you will need

• Passion for digital topics, AI, and data‑driven solutions
• Basic programming skills (Python required; PySpark/Databricks is a big plus)
• First experience with APIs, data integration, or automation tools
• Curiosity about LLMs, RAG systems, AI tools, and agents
• A structured, analytical mindset and the confidence to explore new ideas

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our office in Cologne.
