Your Mission

As a General Manager (m/f/d) PC Cologne, you will develop and lead the Product Company across all dimensions—championing operational excellence, technology leadership, and innovation. You’ll build a culture where people are proud to belong, customers are delighted, and teams are empowered to achieve ambitious goals.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead with Purpose: Inspire and coach a diverse management team, fostering cross-departmental collaboration and a strong leadership culture.
  • Drive Customer Focus: Ensure every action revolves around customer satisfaction, with all departments working together to exceed expectations.
  • Empower People: Attract, develop, and retain top talent. Promote diversity and nurture a culture of continuous learning and agility.
  • Own the Numbers: Take full responsibility for P&L and the balance sheet. Visualize and manage KPIs, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Champion Safety & Quality: Embed a zero-accident mindset and a high-quality mentality throughout the organization.
  • Deliver Excellence: Achieve market-competitive lead times and reliable on-time delivery through lean, flexible operations.
  • Innovate Relentlessly: Manage a robust product portfolio, reduce time-to-market, and ensure projects are delivered on time and in full.
  • Build Relationships: Engage with local and international stakeholders, including government, chambers of commerce, and internal peer groups.

To succeed, you will need

  • University degree in engineering or a relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • Senior leadership experience in multi-divisional, multicultural organizations (international experience preferred)
  • Deep expertise in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and continuous improvement
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L and balance sheets
  • Excellent English skills, good German skills
  • Inspiring, people-focused leadership style with a passion for excellence and continuous improvement
  • Ability to thrive in a complex matrix organization and build high-performing teams
