SHEQ Specialist (f/m/d)

Your role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) Specialist to join our team at CRI-MAN Production Company, located in Correggio, Italy. In this crucial role, you will serve as the key driver for promoting and ensuring compliance with Atlas Copco's rigorous SHE standards and regulatory requirements, directly supporting our commitment to a safe and sustainable working environment. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will take ownership of SHE management within the production facility, acting as a trusted advisor and internal RSPP (Head of the Prevention and Protection Service) in alignment with Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and continuously improving quality, environmental, and safety management systems, ensuring they remain fully compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and relevant local legislation.
- Updating and optimizing digital tools and databases such as Chemwatch, TIA, SharePoint, and Power BI to enhance data accuracy, reporting, and system effectiveness.
- Leading and coordinating internal and external audits, facilitating audit readiness and the successful implementation of audit findings including those required by GIAA and AON.
- Supporting the General Manager and cross-functional teams in managing mandatory environmental and safety programs while contributing to the maintenance and operation of safety equipment and workplace conditions.
- Driving risk assessment processes for work safety, environmental impacts, and contractor safety management, ensuring all interventions meet stringent safety standards.
- Leading initiatives that strengthen a culture centered on safety awareness and environmental responsibility, implementing training programs, health surveillance, and monitoring compliance deadlines with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Coordinating implementation of the Business Continuity Plan and Loss Prevention Standards, alongside overseeing compliance efforts related to Legislative Decree 231/2001.
- Serving as a vital communication link across company divisions, fostering collaboration to maximize the safety and well-being of all employees and stakeholders.
- Engaging in emergency response interventions as necessary, supporting readiness and response capabilities.
This role requires someone who is highly organized, communicative, and capable of managing complex compliance requirements while nurturing cooperative relationships across all levels of the organization. You possess approximately 3-5 years of experience in a Safety, Health & Environmental role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Capable of serving as RSPP pursuant to Italian safety legislation.
- Experience with safety management software platforms such as Chemwatch or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills to promote SHE culture across teams.
- Excellent Italian and English language skills required.

Job location
This position is primarily based on-site at our CRI-MAN facility in Correggio, Italy. Embracing a hands-on approach, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to foster a safe and compliant workplace.
