We are looking for a full-time Intern (m/f/d) to join us.

 

Your role

  • Support the development of an AI-assisted optimization framework for industrial vision systems used in robotic automation cells
  • Focus on multi dimensional vision systems for detection, evaluation, localization, and robot guidance
  • Work on vision optimization topics for our Global TCR solutions
  • Investigate how AI/LLM methods can recommend optimized vision parameters
  • Help reduce misdetections, false detections, evaluation errors, and robot guidance failures
  • Perform hands-on lab testing with different vision systems, robots, product samples, and test conditions
  • Set up test scenarios, to collect production related data for parameter optimization
  • Classify failure cases and analyse parameter sensitivity
  • Build a prototype recommendation workflow for optimized vision settings
  • Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team of vision, robotics, automation, and software engineers
  • Gain practical experience in industrial automation, machine vision, robotics, AI, and data-driven optimization

  • You are currently enrolled at a university and need to complete a mandatory internship as part of your studies.
  • You are proactive and results-driven, with a structured, precise and quality-focused working style.
  • You are confident using Microsoft Office.
  • You communicate well in English; German language skills are a plus.
  • You are curious, motivated and enjoy working together with others in a friendly team environment
