Your role

As a Data Engineer, your mission is to provide enterprise-level ownership of critical master data domains, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and governance across business systems.  This role partners closely with senior stakeholders in Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to define data standards, drive data governance, and enable reliable decision-making across ERP, CRM and analytics platforms.  The position plays a key role in system migrations, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives related to data integrity and business performance.

 

You will report to the Operations Manager.

 

You will

  • Own and govern critical master data domains, ensuring enterprise-wide accuracy, consistency, and compliance with defined standards
  • Establish and enforce master data governance policies, standards, and approval workflows
  • Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex data quality issues, including duplicated, inconsistencies, and systemic errors
  • Act as the primary point of accountability for master data accuracy across ERP, CRM, and reporting systems
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders (Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, IT) to align data structures with business strategy and operational needs
  • Oversee and approve high-impact master data changes, ensuring minimal downstream risk and maximum business alignment
  • Lead master data readiness, validation, and reconciliation activities for system implementations, migrations, and upgrades
  • Design and implement preventative controls, monitoring strategies, and metrics to sustain long-term data quality

  • You have 5+years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Informations Systems, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required
  • Advanced certifications in data governance, ERP systems, or analytics tools are a plus
  • Extensive experience managing master data within enterprise ERP environments (SAP required; Salesforce and Wynne preferred)
  • Proven experience leading or supporting large-scale system migrations, data transformations, or platforms integrations
  • Strong background in data quality management, governance frameworks, and process control
  • Experience coordinating data strategy across multiple business functions and complex operational environments
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority
  • Strong analyticla and strategiv thinking skills with the ability to translate data issues into business impact
  • Deep understanding of master data management principles and governance models

Job location

Option 1: On-Site
This role requires you to work on-site at our office for your first 90 days in Deer Park, TX, United States (US). You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.  After that, the position will work a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office.  There may be 25% travel with this position throughout the year.
