Your role

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager, reporting to the Vice President Marketing.  The role will be a key player to ensure consistent, profitable growth in revenues through fully leveraging all the capabilities of our product portfolio.  You will transform market insights into the right product strategy and show a proactive approach to (new) business models and strategies to lead the way to make our products (even more) successful.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and guide new business model strategy and its integration in existing systems (Full ERP, I-Rent) and assist in the integration of additional business model initiatives in the software
  • Define the North American product portfolio strategy that drives sustainable growth and increases the value of our core products for our customers in close collaboration with the global teams
  • Pave the way towards the North American launch and adoption of our (new) products which include but not limited to defining go-to-market strategy and requirements like product and price positioning, pricing models, strategic messaging and promoting the portfolio to increase market penetration
  • Ensure widespread sales adoption of our product portfolio through strategic training initiatives, creation of sales enablement materials, and the generation of actionable insights using dashboards and reporting
  • Monitor our product portfolio and its performance based on core company and product KPI’s.  Lead initiatives that capture customers’ and sales’ feedback that informs us on necessary improvements needed in our product and service offerings
  • Act as the bridge between engineering teams and market demands, aligning product development with customer needs and business goals.  Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, market trends and industry changes to feed future product needs and translate business requirements into product specifications
  • Foster regular alignment with various departments (operations, sales, marketing, ICT, finance) to drive continuous value creation and guarantee operational readiness and profitability

 

To succeed, you need

  • An academic background in Economics, Marketing or Engineering or equivalent by experience
  • 5+ years of experience which will include proven market and customer expertise in successful portfolio management and strategic business development that drive business growth
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market data and competitive insights into actionable business strategies and product specifications
  • Understand the implications of various business models for the business, on customers and on the financial results and show proactive approach adapting the portfolio strategy to drive sustainable growth
  • Be passionate about thriving the enthusiasm for our product portfolio through the entire organization, especially the sales departments
  • Self-assured self-starter who is eager to collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and senior management teams, regionally and across the globe
  • Forward thinking with a constant requirement to develop and improve not only the individual but also the department.  A strong focus on continual improvement is required
  • An understanding of industry dynamics, customer needs, and market challenges is an advantage
  • Strong working knowledge of Office 365 applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Must have a good knowledge of English (spoken and written).  Other languages are a plus

Job location

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be based in our corporate office in Deer Park, TX.   This position is hybrid after the first 90 days.
