Business Controller
Here at Atlas Copco Deeside, we are looking for a Business Controller to join the team, responsible for accurate, relevant and timely business & financial analysis, supporting general management in making effective business decisions.
In addition to core financial responsibilities, the Business Controller also serves as a Director and Company Secretary of Atlas Copco IAS UK Ltd, ensuring full compliance with legal obligations, Companies House filings, governance standards, and board administration.
The Business Controller is a key member of the Senior Management Team, contributing to strategic direction, operational performance, and long‑term business development.
Roles and responsibilities

Lead all core finance operations including AP/AR, GL, month‑end close, statutory reporting, tax compliance, audits, and adherence to IFRS and internal governance.

Drive financial planning & performance management through budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, modelling, profitability analysis, and strategic decision support.

Shape and execute strategic initiatives such as long‑term planning, digital transformation, sustainability, and continuous improvement across the finance function.

Develop and lead the Finance team, building organisational capability, fostering collaboration, and ensuring strong cross‑functional communication.

Act as a key business partner, providing clear financial insights, managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring ethical governance, and proactively identifying risks and opportunities.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Atlas Copco IAS UK Ltd in Deeside, United Kingdom (GB).
