A key role providing reporting, analysis and insight across the company, ensuring cost control, supporting decision making and continuous improvement activities, as well as championing a robust internal control environment.

 

Role outline:

  • Deliver the monthly management accounting and forecasting activities on site, ensuring accurate and timely submissions (coordinating activities across multiple departments, analysing / interpreting results, reporting on a local and Group level).
  • Collaborating with the Financial Accounting Manager, Operations, and the Senior Leadership Team, support the preparation and submission of the annual business plan.
  • Deliver ad-hoc reporting, analysis, insight, and recommendations, which aid management decision making, and work closely with operational teams to provide support for continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.
  • Drive digitalisation projects in the finance department.
  • Champion internal control compliance and recommend / implement process improvements, ensuring adherence to local and Group policies.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits.
  • Play an active role in the leadership team, engaging in development training sessions, and collaborating with other team leaders on continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Education / Qualifciation / Experience:

  • Standard costing experience within a manufacturing organisation.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft office, especially Excel.
  • Good working knowledge of ERP systems (eg. SysPro, SAP or similar).
