Area Sales Manager (Steam) - Specialty Rental - Mid-Atlantic - Delanco, NJ

Your role

As an Area Sales Manager - Steam (Mid-Atlantic Region), your mission is to drive sales growth for our business by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs. You will be expected to generate new business, maintain existing base, and maximize customer satisfaction in the boiler rental industry.  You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure the successful implementation of sales strategies.  

You will

• Expand existing customer base within assigned territory to promote Atlas Copco Specialty Rental Division North America's (SRDNA) boiler rental business
• Daily calling on regular and prospective customers via phone or traveling throughout the assigned territory for planned visits and/or cold calling
• Work closely with technical staff to provide customers with job site assessments, application solutions, equipment sizing, problem resolution and follow-through
• Coordinate project specs with internal opperational personnel to ensure that the objectives of the project is accomplished in accordance with the customer timeline and requirements
• Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities 
• Prepare accuract and current progress reports for management on the status of all pending opportunities and customer-related activities
• In concert with management, develop and achiever applicable Annual Territory Sales Plan which sets KPI's, revenue and market growth targets
• Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple opportunities and clients concurrently
• Ability to work effectively and meet objectives without detailed day-to-day direction
• The successful ASM-Steam will be driven to improve the revenue for Steam in the Mid-Atlantic region.  He/she will be an active Steam Subject Matter Expert and will be driven to grown the Steam Solutions business in the assigned area of responsibility

• You have 5+ years of experience, in one of the following industries:  HVAC, generators, chillers, boilers, or heat exchangers, and previous experience with rental/leasing environment
• Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or business preferred

Job location

This role is mostly remote, enabling you to work from anywhere within the region of Delanco, NJ, while being associated with our customer center in United States (US).  You may be required to come of the office or an occasional meeting with the rest of the sales team, or with a customer.
