Buyer - (Temporary Position) - Specialty Rental - Powerhouse - Delanco

Your role

As a Buyer - (Temporary Position) - Specialty Rental - Powerhouse - Delanco, your mission is to support our procurement operations within our steam business, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and components. You will report to the VP Steam Operations.

You will

• utilize MRP/ERP and issue the majority of company purchase orders for the shop/engineering/service including consumables and MRO products
• Manage the warehouse for stroage of rental fleet spares, including the warehouse clerk
• Resolve and assist Accounts Payable with invoice discrepancies
• Review and issue Change Orders as needed
• Track and maintain acknowledgements and purchase orders and incoming goods
• Ensure all materials are On-Time; adjust purchase orders and report late deliveries

You have 2-3 years of experience, working as a buyer.

• Must manage and resolve internal and external issues and questions as required
• Ability to manage changes as needed or as directed
• Builds and maintains effective relationships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to sit for long periods of time, utilize cell phone and use company provided laptop
• Verbal and email communication skils are a must for this role
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365

Job location

Option 1: On-Site
This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Delanco, NJ, United States (US). You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.  The length of this assignment is 3 - 6 months.  Schedule will be Monday - Friday with flexible start times.
