Mission of the role
In our commercial and service operations in Vietnam, we run 4 offices around the country, with stakeholders including our customers, our employees, our suppliers, and local government. There is no manufacturing operation in Vietnam. So, in such commerical environment, the mission of the SHEQ Manager is to develop, implement and upkeep the highest level of a certified-Management-System company, as well as to digitalize the Management System at consistent speed of change.

- OHSAS 18001: Occupational Health & Safety Management System
Main responsibilities
The SHEQ Manager shall co-ordinate the activities required to meet quality standard; and shall aim to ensure that the product and service which our Company provided is fit with the purpose and met both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer satisfaction.
Quality Management System (QMS):
- Responsible for ensuring the completeness and validity of all the quality procedures, instruction and specifications.
- Establish corrective actions to deal with situations where the system is found to be inadequate.
- Report on the performance of the Quality Management System including needs for performance improvement in Management Review Meetings.
- Liaison with external parties on matters relating to the Quality Management System.
- Digitalize the process
Environmental, Health and Safety Management System
- Plan, manage, and always improve SHE activities to meet highest practicable SHE commitments that reduces CO2 emission to the environment and provides a safe and healthy working environment to all our employees and other stakeholders.
- Advise on the measures to be taken in occupational health and safety, impact and aspect on the environment.
- Organize and conduct workplace inspections to determine whether any machinery, plant, equipment, substance, appliance or process with risks to bodily injuries or has an impact on the environment.
- Investigate any accident, near misses, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational diseases.
- Carry out special projects as instructed by the General Manager
- Lead customer satisfaction projects to improve the Company’s Net Promoter Scores.
- Maintain frequent and/or monthly status reports to the management.
- Report Sustainability data to the Group as and when required.
- Manage external facility suppliers and vendors
Required experiences
- 05+ years of experience in QMS (or EMS or OHSAS) portfolio, with track record of SHEQ projects and supplier management
Required personality
- Strong leadership and problem solving & analytical skills with ability to explain complicated issues in an easy way.
- The ability to work cross functionally to improve all business processes.
- High level of initiative and continuous improvement thought process.
- Strong negotiation, communication and organization skills
- Good command of Microsoft Office and English
- Go-digital mindset in all works
Required education & knowledge
- University degree
- ISO 9001 (or ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001) Lead Auditor or ability to achieve lead auditor status within 12 months.
- Strong understanding ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standard and processes, and process mapping are critical areas
