Senior Material Planner

Your role
The Senior Material Planner is responsible for driving timely and accurate material availability through proactive supplier coordination, robust planning, and close collaboration with production and internal stakeholders. The role supports uninterrupted operations, optimal inventory control, effective response to forecast changes and evolving market demand.
This role is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Validate delivery schedules, ensure accuracy, and release purchase orders as required.
- Maintain real time tracking and reporting of material flow and delivery status.
- Ensure on time material availability through supplier follow ups and resolution of delivery issues.
- Monitor material shortages for current and +3-month production plans and ensure timely replenishment.
- Incorporate demand forecasts and changing market requirements into material planning decisions.
- Identify, analyze, and escalate supply chain risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform Pareto and root cause analysis to address delays, shortages, and inefficiencies.
- Review/optimize planning parameters including reorder points and safety stock.
- Engage suppliers to build professional, collaborative, and respectful relationships.
- Leverage digital tools such as Power BI/AI to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
- Use ERP systems efficiently, build planning expertise, and drive system improvements in coordination with ERP consultants.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or diploma in Supply Chain Management.
- 5+ years’ experience in material planning, supply chain, or procurement.
Skills
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration capabilities.
- Agile mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, forecasts, and market conditions.
- Proficiency in ERP and planning or logistics systems.
- Advanced Excel skills.
