Join our engineering team at Primax Pumps, part of the Atlas Copco Group, and help shape the future of dewatering technology. We’re looking for a Test Engineer to lead structured product validation and ensure the safety, performance, and reliability of our industry-leading pumps.

In this hands-on role, you’ll design bespoke test rigs, analyse performance data, and work closely with engineering and production teams to support continuous product improvement. If you have a mechanical engineering background, experience in rotating machinery or pump testing, and a passion for precision and problem-solving—we want to hear from you

What you’ll do:

• Develop and conduct validation testing for new and existing pump technologies

• Create test setups and analyse data using specialised instrumentation

• Document findings and support technical feedback for product enhancements

• Collaborate across engineering, production, and service teams

• Contribute to safety, compliance, and mentoring of junior staff

What you’ll bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

• Experience with pump testing or rotating machinery

• Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics and drive systems

• Excellent fault-finding, planning, and analytical skills
  
  

This is a Dubai-based role with some travel required. You’ll be part of a collaborative, safety-first team committed to technical excellence and continuous improvement
