CTS Operations Supervisor- Iraq - (Compressor Technique)

Your role
This role plays important role in planning and executing the strategic direction of the CTS operation in Iraq , respective assigned region, through distributors team, reporting to Iraq country manager and indirectly to CTS RBLM. You will be responsible for CTS operations and service, striving to understand the needs and expectations of our customers and distributors, increase collaboration and create synergies between the regional team and distributor local team. Establish key action plans to drive operational excellence according to the Atlas Copco way & plan for future business growth.
To drive successful CTS performance in respective region will depend on CTS operations supervisor ability to manage, lead and support distributor service team; drive service excellence through standard process & procedures and close follow-up of the key operational KPIs and their drivers and willing to explore new customer and operational paradigms, market trends and to challenge the status.
Main responsibilities
- Implement strategic plans to drive and exceed establish service operational goals and according to the Atlas Copco way for distributors CTS operation.
- Coordinate with distributors CTS management to support and manage day to day activities of CTS service team, recommending actions to improve operational performance and efficiency both in short and long term.
- Facilitate the toolbox meeting process along with distributors service management, involving stakeholders from distributors service team, driving safety and increasing competence levels.
- Coordinate in the process of service planning reports in weekly basis and involve in implementation is achieved at highest level of FSE efficiency
- Maintain effective lines of communication with Atlas Copco Iraq Country manager, CTS team and regional CTS team.
- Proactively identify, pursue, and develop a support process with direct field involvement that can address customer service issues to maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide monthly report to summaries the status of distributors CTS operational KPIs, Overtime ration, utilization, Travelling ration, internal to external efficiency ratio, FSE efficiency based on available hoursetc.
- Coordinate with distributors CTS management to plan and manage the daily workload of the Service Technicians and provide technical support to field service engineers and customers.
- Strengthen customer relations by making Joint routine visits with distributor service team to resolve issues and make appropriate recommendations.
- Identify competence gaps and plan for FSE development plan with Atlas Copco Iraq country manager and technical support supervisor
- Follow up closely with distributors CTS team and management breakdown jobs vs fix price and service contracts to ensure jointly with distributors service planners and management appropriate priorities are given to the various type of service jobs and urgency
- Coordinate with distributor CTS management to plan and attend WIP meetings and provide updates on jobs with issues and those that are plus 90 and ensure and maintain a safe working environment for the service team by ensuring last minute risk assessment is conducted by all field service engineers, safety reporting regularly and analyses and recommend course of actions of any safety reports.
- To coordinate for safety training for Service Technicians as mandated and maintain certification records.
- Identify and take active role jointly with distributor CTS management in the recruitment process of FSEs and provide orientation/training for new FSE
- Work closely with Atlas Copco Iraq CTS team to ensure that the distributors operational KPIs are met
- Any Adhoc projects/tasks
To succeed, you will need
Experience requirements
- Preferably >6 years relevant CTS service experience
- Proven people management skills
- Sound product knowledge including parts and service business
Educational requirements
-Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent
Personality requirements and skills
- Strong Arabic & English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver messages to stakeholders at different levels inside and outside of the organization.
- Be customer oriented, able to understand customer needs and prioritize them accordingly.
- Certain though open and reflective while forming opinions.
