Your role

The Sales & Marketing Supervisor is responsible for driving business growth, market development, and customer engagement for Atlas Copco’s Compressor Service and Optimization division in Iraq jointly with Iraq distributors. The role combines frontline sales execution with strategic marketing initiatives to strengthen market presence, expand customer base, and deliver sustainable revenue growth. Candidate will work within a dynamic distributors’ sales team and report directly to the Iraq country manager

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

-Drive sales of service products, aftermarket solutions, and equipment within assigned territory

-Identify new business opportunities across key industries

-Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline to meet and exceed targets

-Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders

-Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals in line with company policies

-Maintain effective communication with Atlas Copco Iraq Country Manager, CSO BLM, Distributor

 Manager, and CSO Regional Team.

-Proactively identify, pursue, and establish support processes with distributors’ aftermarket sales

 teams to address customer needs and maximize satisfaction and loyalty

-Coordinate closely with distributors’ CSO management to align with divisional strategy and agreed

 local action plans

-Monitor implementation of actions and pipeline on a regular basis; review spare parts stock levels

 and prepare recommended replenishment lists

-Provide monthly summary reports to Iraq Country Manager and CSO BLM outlining status of

 agreed CSO sales and marketing KPIs for distributors

-Develop and implement action plans to increase CSO digital footprint in the Iraq market

-Identify competence gaps and plan training and development programs in coordination with Iraq –

 Country Manager and Distributor Manager

-Coordinate and lead regular meetings with distributors’ aftermarket sales engineers to review action plan progress and pipeline status

 

Marketing Activities

-Plan and execute local marketing campaigns aligned with regional strategy

-Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities

-Support product launches, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives

-Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings

Customer Experience & Service Coordination

-Collaborate closely with service teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction

-Act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring timely resolution of issues

-Promote service contracts, upgrades, and value-added solutions

-Coordinate with distributor CSO management to ensure full adoption and utilization of MSM tools and reporting

 

To succeed, you will need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

5–8 years of experience in sales and/or marketing, preferably in industrial equipment or services

Experience in the Iraqi market is highly preferred

Strong commercial acumen with proven track record in achieving sales targets

Strong negotiation and influencing skills

Customer-centric mindset

Strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a matrix organization and cross-functional environment
