Job description:

The position we are offering will be a part time job supporting the HR Manager for Holding in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). The location will be Essen in Germany. The candidate for this position must assist in the effective management of the administrative HR function and give support to the HR area to achieve the strategic objectives of the Holding organization. We offer an interesting opportunity for a highly motivated Human Resources Specialist to be part of a corporate and diverse environment where the main target is to coordinate, guide, coach and support the local Human Resource managers from the different legal entities. 


Description of the job:

Reporting to the HR Manager Holding; the Human Resources Specialist will focus on:

- Administrative HR tasks for 50 direct employees from the Holding organization:

  • Handel personal and development files,
  • Control and update time management system,
  • Register vacation days,
  • Gather on time information for payroll, tracking incidents,

- Knowledge of German Labour legislation, to ensure compliance.

- Support with Work Council agreements from Germany to English.

- Assist with the information for monthly and quarterly reports.

- Collect information on different legal entities.

- Participate on a project for a new Time Registration System.

- Coordinate the annual SafetyDay event.

- Follow up on human resources processes according to THE WAY WE DO THINGS.

- Support and promote Employer Branding activities (develop relationships with Universities).

- Know and comply with the regulations of Quality, Safety & Health, and Environment of the company.



The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist.



- German and English language needs to be on business fluent level.

- PC Management (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Experience on building relationships with various groups of people at all levels of the organization.

- Must be able to work in a multicultural environment.


Educational requirements:

Career in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, and / or related.


Personality required:

Strong beliefs that human capital is the most important value to ensure further positive development.

The ideal candidate must be collaborative, open-minded, resourceful, and entrepreneurial.

Also should be customer orientation, with an auto-address way of working. Being very good at Planning and Execution of tasks; with high professionalism standards. Always having an innovation & solution approach to work. Excellent at communication skills and Interaction with others.
