Field Sales Engineer - Capital Equipment, level I, Domestic/Sub-Regional/Regional-ME1D

Your role
As a Sales Engineer, your mission is to drive sales growth for our business by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs. You will report to the Sales Manager and work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure the successful implementation of sales strategies.
Short Description
To expand Atlas Copco’s Industrial Air presence and market share in your area through proactive direct and indirect sales activities.
Your day-to-day
- Direct sales:

- Sell Industrial Air solutions to maximize our customers’ productivity.
- Offer the complete range of Industrial Air products and solutions with Full Potential offers, including Airchitect simulations.
- Map the industrial segments in your area. Expand the strong segments and develop the weak segments.
- Prospect new customers by :
- Cold-calling, 4h every month. Revisit these prospects regularly to acquire them as new customers.
- Visiting brother and sister companies, inactive installed base customers and prospects from various industry lists.

- Indirect sales:

- In cooperation with the AII Distributor Manager, develop the Sales Distributors in your area to maximize presence and market share.
- Have a monthly meeting with each Sales Distributor to review his quotation list and decide on pro-active sales actions to maximize sales.
- Provide training on products and Airchitect.
- Provide training on sales by joining the Sales Distributor in customer visits.
- Prospect for new Sales Distributors with the AII Distributor Manager.
- Key Accounts : develop key accounts to integrate AII products in their products.

- Targets : meet your annual targets on Orders Received and Orders Invoiced.
- Customer management:
- Use C4C to manage on a daily basis, your customer visits, leads, won/lost/stopped opportunities, quotations and orders.
- Plan your customer visits and save visit reports in C4C for each visit.
- Accelerate sales promotion by using the Industrial Air Demo Center extensively, make Full Potential proposals with Airchitect simulations, customer trainings and local exhibitions in collaboration with the Sales Distributors.
- Customer Satisfaction:
- Maximize the Industrial Air NPS score.
- Drive customer satisfaction together with Compressor Service Organization.
- Quick response and proactive approach to the customer.
- Monthly Meeting with AII BLM:
- Review your business monthly with your BLM based on C4C : appointments, leads, opportunities, orders. Customers and prospects.
- Provide an update on customer needs, problems, interests, competitor activities and potential for new products and services.
- Develop internal communication and team work
- Coordinate sales efforts with colleagues, other Departments, CTS, Kawasaki Compressor Logistics Center and Finance.
