Mission:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Sales visit to customers at job sites, business offices and institutional account locations to identify and create rental opportunities.

Sales visit on key account administrative and management personnel in offices to ensure customer satisfaction.

Handle customer service issues in the field and negotiate rental contracts.

Handle customer sales objections and the ability to close on a rental deal.

Develop a thorough understanding of the market conditions (eg. current customers, competitors, opportunities) for the assigned territory, develop and execute a strategy to achieve revenue goals.

Work with Sales and budget forecasts.

Conduct productive cold calling and prospecting activities.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer and market share.

 

Skills and Experience:

Competent in understanding and communicating product and technical information.

- Sound technical understanding and ability to quickly adopt to new products/ technical developments.

- Significant technical application expertise to specify the best solution for the customer.

- Clear understanding of optimised territory management.

- Strong sales techniques and negotiation skills.

- Ability to cope with pressure and setbacks and learn to develop accordingly

- Ability to work as part of a team.

- Excellent verbal and written English & Afrikaans required

- Willing to travel and be on standby as and when required in the performance of their duties

 

Qualification:

Bachelors degree in Engineering or other Technical or in relevant rental experience

Minimum of 5 years working experience in technical solutions selling

Confident and a good team player

Passionate about Customer satisfaction

Computer literate

Excellent interpersonal skills

Professional in all dealings

In possession of a valid and clear driver's licence
