Service Manager Central Sweden, Atlas Copco Compressor

The main responsibility of the Service Manager is to lead, follow up, and develop a team of field-based service technicians located across Central Sweden. Your mission is to maintain and achieve our high standards in customer service, productivity, availability, and profitability. All work must be carried out in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
You will work independently toward both assigned and self-defined goals, with a strong drive to lead and develop others. Collaboration and communication—both internally and externally—are key to success in this role.
To succeed, you will need
- Coach and lead motivated service technicians who are strong ambassadors for Atlas Copco.
- Communicate goals clearly and continuously update the team on progress.
- Maintain strong and profitable relationships with our customers.
- Foster effective collaboration with the sales organization.
- Ensure a safe working environment in accordance with delegated health and safety responsibilities.
- Be responsible for resource planning and competence development.
- Ensure the flow of technical information to employees in the region, in collaboration with Technical Service.
- Optimize efficiency and capacity utilization in collaboration with the Planning Department.
- Ensure cost-effective operations.
- Follow up on warranty cases, customer issues, and customer satisfaction surveys.
We are looking for someone with a technical background and previous experience leading teams, preferably in a field service environment. You are a natural leader who builds trust and engagement, with a structured approach and strong problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in Swedish and proficient in English.
- Valid driver’s license (B).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Job location
This role is fully remote, enabling you to work from Västerås, Gävle, Borlänge, Ludvika or Örebro. The most important for us, that you will be working closely with your team and customers in this position.
