Short Description

The Rental Desk Team Leader plays a key leadership role within the Specialty Rental division, reporting directly to the Regional Operations Lead for North-Central Europe. This role involves overseeing a team of Rental Desk Administrators and guiding the end-to-end rental process across multiple countries under North-Central Europe area of responsibility. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between sales, logistics, and customer service to drive operational efficiency and business growth. Regular regional travel will be required, including visits to the European headquarters, to support alignment and continuous improvement of rental services.

 

As a Rental Desk Team Leader, you will lead the regional rental operations team to deliver exceptional customer experience while optimizing rental profitability. Key responsibilities include managing and developing the Rental Desk team, establishing performance standards and best practices, ensuring efficient execution of rental processes, monitoring KPIs and financial results, and strengthening cross-functional collaboration with Sales to maximize business opportunities. You will champion team development, support team for complex customer inquiries, and lead initiatives to continuously enhance rental process efficiency and fleet availability across the Region.

Your skills and experience

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Completed commercial or technical education, or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in KPI-driven performance management and process optimization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential; experience with ERP systems will be advantageous
  • Fluent English communication skills, alongside knowledge of local languages considered a plus
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, emphasizing customer satisfaction and proactive problem-solving
  • High level of initiative, responsibility, and autonomy to manage dynamic operational demands
  • Adaptability to fast-changing environments and commitment to continuous learning
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the region

Your location

This role offers hybrid work, splitting time between remote and on-site in North-Central Europe countries (mainly: Poland, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Romania)
