Shipping and Receiving Manager
Your role
The Shipping and Receiving Manager oversees all inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, packing, and shipment of equipment, materials, and products. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a focus on accuracy, safety, and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. The Manager will lead a team, coordinate with internal departments, and maintain compliance with company procedures, industry regulations, and customer requirements.

- Supervise shipping, receiving, and warehouse staff, providing training, direction, and performance feedback
- Implement, track, and manage ongoing improvements related to efficient process flow and material handling?
- Set daily priorities, monitor workflow, and ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Enforce safety and quality standards across all warehouse operations
- Oversee preparation, packing, and shipment of orders, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and damage-free delivery
- Select carriers (UPS, FedEx, common carriers), manage customs paperwork, and verify labeling, weights, and dimensions
- Oversee unloading, inspection, and verification of incoming shipments; resolve discrepancies or damage claims
- Maintain accurate routing, identification, tracking, and organization of all materials
- Manage issuing of stock/WIP materials and oversee consumables tracking, reordering, and inventory system accuracy
- Implement and monitor performance metrics and process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial stability
- Operate forklifts, trucks, and other material handling equipment as needed
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization; support other warehouse functions and special projects
- As a new organization within the Atlas Copco Group, the position will implement and manage performance metrics the support financial stability and project success.

- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of shipping/receiving experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Valid driver’s license required; forklift certification preferred
- Proficient with inventory management systems, shipping/receiving documentation, and customs procedures
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and data-driven decision-making skills
- Frequent movement between office and warehouse; ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate measuring tools/material handling equipment
- Manufacturing/warehouse setting with exposure to machinery; PPE required (safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, hard hat)
- Demonstrates ability to build trust, motivate teams, prioritize and deliver results, remain efficient under pressure, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
