Join us as an HR Advisor EMEA, General Vacuum, part of the Atlas Copco Group; Vacuum Business Area, where you’ll play a key role in uniting 240+ employees across 17 countries into one cohesive, high‑performing European GV Customer Centre. This role is initially being offered on a fixed-term one year basis with the potential to go perm.
Working closely with the HR Manager, you’ll deliver high‑quality HR support, drive impactful people initiatives, and help strengthen our employer brand across the region.
You’ll be part of a collaborative HR team shaping the future employee experience across EMEA. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, multicultur.al environment, enjoys working with people at all levels, and wants to make a genuine impact on culture, capability, and engagement
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality, timely HR support across the EMEA Customer Centre.
- Drive a positive, inclusive employee experience and ensure consistent onboarding.
- Support talent management, training programmes, and development of leaders.
- Coordinate and track training activity and contribute to clear career pathways.
- Partner with managers on performance, career conversations, and team‑building.
- Lead or support end‑to‑end recruitment for the North & East regions, Early Careers hiring, and global mobility.
- Maintain accurate HR data, support KPI reporting, and collaborate with Finance.
- Support compensation benchmarking and quarterly recognition initiatives.
- Contribute to HR process improvements, audit follow‑ups, and compliance.
- Support annual HR cycles, regional/global projects, and build strong employee relationship
To succeed, you will need
- Strong experience delivering HR operational support in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
- CIPD qualified (full/part) or working towards it.
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments (preferred).
- Strong talent management background across development, training, and resourcing.
- Confident user of HR systems with a proactive, solution‑oriented approach.
- Thrives in complex, matrix organisations.
- Empathetic communicator with a commercially focused mindset.Self‑motivated and independent, with good judgement on when to seek support.
- Highly organised, able to prioritise, multitask, and adapt in a fast‑changing environment.
- Detail‑driven, reliable, and consistently delivers accurate, timely outcomes.
- Collaborative team player committed to continuous learning.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.

Job location
This role offers remote or a hybrid working arrangement depending on location, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our site in Burgess Hill, Edward Vacuum.
