Business Controller

Your role

As a Business Controller, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, steering the organization's accounting functions and empowering strategic financial decisions through precise and timely reporting. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll contribute significantly to our overall success.

Your day-to-day

• Oversee accounts payable, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain planning and budgeting systems.
• Prepare financial and management reports and present findings to senior management.
• Analyze and interpret financial trends requiring management's attention.
• Ensure that financial reporting is in accordance with IFRS and The Way we Do Things. 
• Preparation, analysis and timely reporting of financial results in order to support general management in make effective business decisions. 
• Development of supporting analytical tools and reports in accordance with FAM and local statutory practices to support our ambitions targets for growth and profitability. 
• Improve and Develop internal control to safeguard company assets including investments payback and follow up.
• Drive continuous improvement in business control, processes and procedures, support management and the rest of the organization with reports, analysis and tools to follow up on the business and to initiate process improvement actions 

Your skills and experience

• University degrees in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or similar. 
• MBA is a plus.
• Previous experience in business control, preferably in a Product Company in Atlas Copco.
• Hands on in accounting.
• Team management and team player.
• More than 10 years of work experience, including more than 3 years of experience in managerial positions. 
• Proven knowledge and experience in driving processes improvement in product companies to achieve positive finance results.
