Your role

Bring your curiosity to work as our next Operation Manager. You will be part of our Operation team reporting to Genaral manager. In this role, your mission is to build a ‘state-of-the-art’ product company through excellent operation with safe and healthy working environment and efficient energy management, to continuously improve customer satisfaction. You will contribute directly to how we create high‑quality products and solutions for our customers.

 

In order to achieve your mission, you need to develop and maintain good communication and collaboration with global customers and implement efficient management of planning, workshops, warehouses, and logistics through excellent operations to improve operational competence and organization efficiency and ensure timely and high-quality order delivery.

 

You are responsible for implementing the operational excellence concept in company level to improve safety awareness, quality control, delivery reliability, efficiency and working capital.

Important part of your mission is to build and inspire a strong team with special focus on retention of talents and good performers and competence development. So that you and your team can work closely with the company's various teams to achieve the company's goals and performance.

Short Description

Responsibility(Including the following, other duties may be assigned):

  • Based on customer-oriented, establish and develop a good customer communication mechanism, understand and respond to customer needs, actively achieve PC commitments, and provide customers with professional, timely, accurate and thoughtful services.
  • Collect and analyze customer needs and establish and operate an effective order-to-delivery fulfillment system. Carry out the systematic planning and management of order demands, material planning, production operation, quality assurance and logistics to achieve high-efficiency and low-cost operation goals.
  • You will be responsible for lead time and delivery reliability, setting up a system with suppliers to reduce lead time. To safeguard the high-quality level of our products.  You will be responsible for an active quality improvement process, a pro-active poka-yoke quality process.
  • You will be responsible for the production cost and efficiency as well as the asset management of the production, with the goal of continuously reducing the product cost.  You need to drive improvement actions in all operation processes to increase overall efficiency.
  • Work together with CtP team and new product development team to introduce new products in production line, to support fast product launch onto the market.
  • Work closely with the excellent operation team, practice and adopt lean methods to standardize the operation processes, optimize the factory and warehouse layout, and improve balancing in assembly lines.
  • Facilitate collaboration among customer contact, planning and logistics teams, to improve transparency in inventory management and improve working capital turnover efficiency.
  • Lead the operation teams to actively participate in the implementation of group level digitalization projects, incl. WMS, APS, MES, etc.  Initiate and sponsor local projects to take our factory through digitalization and automation journey.
  • Be an ambassador for safety first initiatives to guarantee the full implementation of QSHE & energy circles, and empower initiatives to create a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly work place.

Your skills and experience

  • As a successful candidate, you will have 5 years, significant successful experience in operation management of a production site, preferably in a multinational company. Previous experience in managerial position will be an added advantage.
  • More than 10 years of work experience, including more than 3 years of experience in managerial positions. 
  • You have professional knowledge and competence within all aspects of the operation functions, in manufacturing environment, especially on lean manufacturing practices and operation process digitalization.
  • You are fluent in Chinese and have a good level in English, both written and oral.
