IAS Project Manager
As a Project Team Manager, you will lead and oversee project teams to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of customer projects within agreed scope, timeline, quality, and budget. You will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams across Sales, Engineering, Service, Operations, and other relevant functions to drive project success and deliver solutions that meet customer requirements and business objectives.
[Duties & Responsibilities]
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, resources, and key milestones.
- Coordinate project activities from project initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business objectives.
- Establish clear responsibilities and priorities within the project team.
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage deviations from the agreed plan.
2. Project Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and develop cross-functional project teams to achieve project objectives.
- Foster effective collaboration and communication across different functions and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Promote accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement within the project team.
3. Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key project contact for customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Understand customer requirements and ensure that project deliverables are aligned with agreed expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, key issues, risks, and milestones clearly to relevant stakeholders and management.
4. Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
- Proactively address technical, commercial, resource, and schedule-related issues that may impact project success.
- Manage project changes and ensure that scope, timeline, cost, and resource impacts are properly assessed and communicated.
5. Budget & Project Profitability Management
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and expenditures to ensure financial targets are achieved.
- Track project profitability and identify potential cost risks or opportunities for improvement.
- Optimize resource allocation and project execution to improve overall project efficiency and business results.
- Collaborate with relevant functions to ensure appropriate commercial and financial control throughout the project.
6. Timeline & Quality Management
- Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with relevant functions to resolve schedule and quality issues.
- Ensure project deliverables meet agreed customer requirements, quality standards, and internal processes.
- Utilize appropriate project management tools and methodologies to improve project execution and efficiency.
7. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, including progress, risks, issues, financial status, and key milestones.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure key project decisions, changes, and actions are properly documented and communicated.
- Capture and share lessons learned to support continuous improvement and future project execution.
[Qualifications]
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in industrial equipment, automation, engineering, manufacturing, or a related industry.
- Experience leading cross-functional project teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong project planning, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Ability to understand and manage technical and commercial aspects of projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex project issues.
- Experience in customer-facing project management and stakeholder management is preferred.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools.
- Good understanding of industrial automation, assembly solutions, manufacturing processes, or related technologies is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with global and local stakeholders is preferred.
