[PURPOSE OF THIS JOB]

The purpose of this role is to:

• Provide expertise in technical handheld and fixture assembly solutions within the Final Assembly environment.
• Develop and support automated machinery solutions, including PLC functionalities, tailored for the PT, FA, and T-1 industry segments.
• Deliver software solutions that meet production volume and quality requirements.
• Drive automation business development and provide support for all MVI customers alongside the Automation Team.
• Ensure the delivery of optimal technical solutions that align with Atlas Copco’s objectives of customer satisfaction, high quality, reliability, and on-time delivery.

[DUTIES&RESPONSIBILITY]

[Project Management]

• Conduct feasibility studies, analyses, and scheduling for engineering projects.
• Monitor, coordinate, and validate assigned projects.
• Regularly report on project status and address roadblocks in collaboration with project leaders.

[Engineering Support]

• Provide engineering assistance for customer projects, including mechanical or electrical tasks, in collaboration with field service technicians.
• Perform quality control on work related to budget, schedule, plans, and personnel performance.

[Customer and Stakeholder Interaction]

• Interact daily with customers to understand their needs and represent them in the field.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project managers and other participants to provide technical support.

[Supplier and Logistics Management]

• Manage suppliers for both local and overseas parts, working closely with the logistics and purchasing teams.

[Collaboration and Product Development]

• Work with the Application Center (APC) for special product launches and deliveries to meet customer demands.
• Participate in regular project status reviews with project leaders to identify progress and roadblocks.

[Quality Assurance]

• Review engineering deliverables and implement corrective actions when necessary.

[QUALIFICATIONS]

[Experience/Education]

• Candidates have at least 5 years’ experience in an engineering related field and including of project management and automation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferable in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, etc.
• Basic knowledge in industrial electrical/mechanical or automation, fieldbus (PLC) technique.
• Network technology and data communications is an advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written English is favorable
