Job Title: Engineer_Field Service

Report to: Manager_Service Operations
Location: Gwangmyeong
[Responsibilities]

Provide commissioning and start-up support for IAS products to customers in the automotive industry.

Install and service equipment, both electrically and mechanically.

Supervise and execute preventive and corrective maintenance.

Perform troubleshooting and system repairs.

Provide technical support to customers (production and maintenance teams).

Collaborate with HQ in Germany and the UK.

Handle spare parts delivery and coordination.

Conduct customer training sessions.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills.

Continuously improve technical knowledge in IAS products.

Identify customer needs and perform services independently.
[Experience / Education]

Understanding or experience in the automotive industry.
-
Vocational training in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
[Knowledge / Skills]

Hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical equipment installation and technical service.

Experience with automation robots (handling and teaching) – preferred

Knowledge of car manufacturing processes and plant layouts – preferred

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills – preferred

Familiarity with microcontroller- or PC-based controllers.

Fluent in written and spoken English – preferred
