[Purpose of this job]
- Expertise in technical handheld and fixture assembly solutions in the Final Assembly environment.
- Expertise in automated machinery solutions, including PLC functionalities, for production environments in PT, FA, and T-1 industry segments.
- Knowledge of software solutions that align with production volume and quality requirements.
- Support and develop automation business with MVI customers alongside the Automation Team.
- Ensure the delivery of the best technical solutions that meet Atlas Copco’s targets for customer satisfaction, quality, reliability, and on-time delivery.
- Project team management and execution of projects.
[Duties & Responsibilities]
- Conduct feasibility studies, analysis, scheduling, coordination, monitoring, and validation of assigned engineering projects.
- Provide engineering support for customer projects in collaboration with Field Service technicians, including mechanical and electrical tasks.
- Engage with customers daily to interpret their needs and requirements, representing them in the field.
- Ensure overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel performance) and report regularly on project status.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project managers and other participants to provide technical support.
- Review engineering deliverables and take corrective actions as needed.
- Manage local and overseas suppliers in collaboration with logistics and purchasing teams.
- Work with the Application Center (APC) for special product launches and deliveries to meet customer demands.
[Experience Requirements]
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an engineering-related field, including project management and automation.
- Basic knowledge of industrial electrical/mechanical systems or automation, and fieldbus (PLC) technology.
- Familiarity with network technology and data communications is an advantage.
- Proficient in spoken and written English is preferred.
- Understanding of Robot/Co-bot systems, automated equipment, and machinery.
[Educational Requirements]
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

- Proactive, dynamic, and enthusiastic.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Adaptable to flexible schedules and willing to travel to customer production sites and offices in South Korea. Overseas travel may be required.
- Valid driver’s license.
