Development Engineer, Mechanical

Your role

As a Development Engineer, Mechanical, your mission is to design and complete technical documents such as scheme design, material selection, 3D, mechanical drawings, and manuals according to product/project requirements.. You will report to Engineering Manager, System.

You will

    Design and complete technical documents such as scheme design, material selection, 3D, mechanical drawings, and manuals according to product/project requirements.
    Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to complete product/project design work.
    Collaborate with the production and procurement departments to complete the production, assembly, and commissioning of equipment.
    Assist the marketing and after-sales departments in resolving customer technical issues.
    Summarize product development experience, continuously improve product performance, and make design modifications and improvements according to user or company requirements.
    Explore patents, write patent applications, and protect technological achievements.

• Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical design and manufacturing, mechatronics integration, instrumentation, vacuum technology and equipment, automation and related majors;    Relevant Previous experience (minimum years of experience to competently carry out the role, not total year of experience)
• More than 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with experience as an independent structural designer responsible for products/projects preferred;
• Understand various common processing techniques and processes, familiar with the characteristics and application scenarios of various materials;
• in using design software such as AutoCAD and Solidworks, as well as office software such as Excel, Word, Powerpiont, etc; 
• Familiar with the basics of tolerance fitting and able to standardize drafting; 
• Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD and Solidworks, as well as office software such as Excel, Word, Powerpiont, etc;
• Familiar with ERP, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Sharepoint and other software; Experience in vacuum industry design is preferred;
•  Having a certain foundation in English, good English reading ability. Language skills: GOOD English level will be a plus.
• Other skills and knowledge: Good experience and usage level of the key MS office packages, e.g MS Excel, Words, Powerpoint
