Indirect Sales Engineer - Ha Noi 

 

Mission:

Develop and grow indirect sales in line with company’s objectives. He(or she) will report to the Sales Manager of the Industrial Air division.

 

Goals

  • Manage all actions to achieve assigned business targets (leads, opportunities, and orders)
  • Set, communicate, and enforce sales goals with dealers and resellers to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Drive business growth by achieving annual sales volume and market share objectives.

Main responsibilities:

Manage distributors

  • Manage and develop the Atlas Copco Distributors network in responsible territories by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new resellers and dealers.
  • Support and guide our resellers/ dealers in the following areas to improve product knowledge, application knowledge, sales arguments, and competitor analysis
  • Strengthen partnerships through regular meetings and monthly joint customer visits; define, implement, and monitor agreed action plans.
  • Apply Business Code of Practice, Rules of “AC restricted areas” and Group guidelines for all business partners and distributors
  • Ensure revenue targets of distributors are achieved
  • Formulate annual evaluation plan based on KPI's for each distributor
  • Organize and coordinate the annual distributor events
  • Monitor monthly achievement in Orders and Revenues and implement improving actions (campaign, support, local action in weak areas …)
  • Monitor inventory monthly and provide the promotion of the strategic stock machines

Marketing support

  • Together with SM and BLM to roll out and execute marketing sales / after-sales campaigns
  • Ensure adherence of the distributors to the communication and brand guidelines (Distributors Brand Manual)

Development indirect channel

  • Identify and evaluate new Distributors to increase market coverage
  • Ensure distributors are equipped with necessary equipment and skills to represent Atlas Copco
  • Monitor leads and cooperate on Leads´ Quality improvement
  • Actively collaborate with direct sales teams to ensure smooth cooperation among Sales Engineers and Distributors and best market coverage
  • Develop and implement the Distributor Categories (Reseller, Distributor)

Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering or proven sales experience
  • Young candidates with 3+ years of industry sales experience, preferred distributor sales
  • Knowledge of air compressor products and services, or industry products 
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English
  • Ability of market analysis, competition and price analysis 
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and CRM
  • Ambitious and self-motivated for winning sales

Compensation and Benefits:
