Project & Product Engineer
Your day-to-day
Your role:
Bring your curiosity to work as our next Project and Product engineer. You will be part of our Desoutter team reporting to regional project manager. In this role, your mission is to responsible for managing and delivering customer projects for Desoutter assembly solutions, including solutions demonstrations, technical evaluation, design, coordination, installation supervision, and on-time, on-budget delivery. You will contribute directly to how we create high-quality product and solution for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate customer requirements, RFQs, and technical specifications for project opportunities.
- Develop solution concepts and ensure compliance with customer requirements, including documentation of deviations when applicable.
- Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and risk assessments, coordinating internal reviews as needed.
- Support sales with pricing strategies, competitive analysis, and technical expertise.
- Manage project execution from kick-off through final acceptance and project closure.
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers.
- Provide technical support during project implementation, including programming, configuration, and troubleshooting of assembly solutions.
Your skills and experience
Background & Experience
- 2-5 years' experience in industrial automation, assembly tools, or related project roles.
- Experience with torque tools, fastening systems, or robotic automation is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of databases (SQL/Oracle), IT networks, and industrial communication protocols.
- Familiarity with programming, tightening solutions configuration, and data collection systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Project management and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks is an advantage.
- Fluent Vietnamese and good English communication skills.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our office in Hanoi, Viet Nam (VN).
