Mission/Purpose of the Job

Manage and develop supplier performance in quality, process control, and continuous improvement to support sustainable service business growth. Drive suppliers to proactively improve quality, operational efficiency, and compliance, ensuring reliable service part supply, business continuity, customer satisfaction, and profitability of the VSS business. Lead supplier quality development and risk mitigation activities to build a robust, high-performing, and sustainable supply base.

Main Responsibilities

Supplier Quality Management

Monitor and improve supplier quality performance through KPI management (DPPM, NCR, 8D Closure, etc.) and drive continuous improvement activities.
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and ensure achievement of quality and delivery targets.

Supplier Development

Develop supplier capabilities by strengthening quality systems, process controls, compliance, and operational excellence.
Drive suppliers to proactively improve quality, productivity, and overall business performance.

Supplier Qualification & Assessment

Support supplier selection, qualification, and development through supplier audits, SESPA assessments, capability evaluations, and risk assessments.
Evaluate supplier quality systems, manufacturing capabilities, and capacity to support sourcing and business allocation decisions.

Quality Planning & PPAP

Lead and support quality planning activities for supplier transfers, and business allocation projects.
Manage PPAP approval, process validation, documentation review, and product qualification activities to ensure supplier readiness.

Supplier Audit & Compliance

Conduct supplier quality and process audits to ensure compliance with company requirements and identify improvement opportunities.
Follow up audit findings and verify effective implementation of corrective actions.

Corrective Action Management

Drive supplier quality issue resolution through containment, root cause analysis, and effective corrective and preventive actions using 8D and other problem-solving methodologies.
Ensure timely closure and effectiveness verification of supplier corrective actions.

Risk Management & Business Continuity

Identify and mitigate supplier quality and supply risks through risk assessments, capacity reviews, and contingency planning.
Support sustainable supply performance and business continuity for the VSS business.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Support

Collaborate with global Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Regional Distribution Centers, and Global Quality teams to drive supplier performance and support business objectives.
Lead or support supplier-related projects, including supplier development, business allocation, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education Level

- Education Level:
  - Bachelor or above degree major in Engineering.

Your skills and experience

Relevant Previous Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering.
- Proven experience supporting global supplier quality management, supplier development, audits, and continuous improvement activities across multiple regions.
- Experience working with global stakeholders in Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality functions is highly preferred.
Knowledge areas / Skills:
- - Good knowledge & experience in Supplier quality management process
  - Strong quality spirit, data driven working style, good logical thinking and quick problem-solving technique facing multiple activities.
  - Technical and Analytical skills necessary to understand machining processes, support quality initiatives, execute root cause analysis, coach suppliers in performance.
  - Good communication, time management and ability to work indepently
  - Good negotiation skills
  - Project management, Supplier management experience.
  - Good spoken and written English
