Senior Facilities Engineer, Local-OFMP

Short Description
- Maximize building and equipment uptime using efficient, corrective, planned and preventative maintenance for offices, R&D labs, production, and logistics.
- Working with the SHE Facilities & Maintenance Manager, and wider Operations Management, assisting in accomplishing the organization's efforts to improve facility risk rating and meet or exceed SHE goals and plans.
- Working with the Advanced Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering teams support the site design & layout planning, including support of the physical move process.
- Manage and execute a planned maintenance program, including maintenance schedules, procedures and methods for equipment and facilities as directed. Investigate and introduce cost savings across facilities programs to ensure favorable cost impact for the facilities department.
- Own the integrated building control systems (BMS).
- Direct the maintenance and care of the wider facility, property and grounds (landscaping, snow, regulatory i.e. DEP/EPA requirements specific to the site).
- Manage outside service providers supporting (but not limited to) electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, painting, and janitorial ensuring performance is on time and budget.
- Perform general duty facilities maintenance including conference room setup and break-down, lighting repair, ceiling tile replacement, snow removal and ice treatment on entrances, walkways & emergency exits.
- Manage vendor contracts to ensure adequate spare parts inventory and/or timely response for preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Manage, track and prioritize facilities maintenance requests and costs; complete any documentation necessary for the completion of a task.
- Proactively conduct periodic analysis of facility equipment, prioritize, and propose future upgrades and preventative maintenance as applicable.
- Track and report on key performance indicators to demonstrate optimal building performance.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities/agencies for various permits (ex. building occupancy permit).
- Assist in the management of the site waste-water treatment system.
- Execute other facility-related requirements as needed or directed by SHE, Facilities & Maintenance Manager. Prepare and conduct presentations to senior management and external representatives.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or related discipline
- Relevant Previous experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in building / property maintenance or related engineering field.
- Experience with commercial / manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge areas/Skills
- Strong understanding of mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and structural systems.
- Prior experience utilizing facilities management software and preventive maintenance programs
- Other requirements
- Oral and written English communication skills with the ability to professionally communicate with diverse populations. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Well organized with attention to detail.

For US applicants in Massachusetts, a salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 will be discussed based on experience and qualifications, ensuring equitable and transparent remuneration practices.
