Your role

Your Role as an Onsite Service Engineer

As an integral member of Atlas Copco’s ACTA Service team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional onsite service and technical consultancy to our valued industrial customers. Your primary mission is to ensure maximum customer satisfaction by consistently providing high-quality service and technical support for Atlas Copco products, while actively promoting our service solutions to generate meaningful service revenue (NIS).

You will independently manage the execution of service contracts, ensuring clear understanding and strict adherence to agreed scopes and key performance indicators (KPIs). Your work will include data collection and thorough documentation following both Atlas Copco and customer standards, creating transparency and accountability in service delivery.

Leading onsite workshops and implementing lean process improvements will form a core part of your daily operations, driving continuous efficiency enhancements for customer operations. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with customers to provide comprehensive tool operation training, swiftly address quality issues with thorough follow-ups, and maintain strong and professional relationships to foster trust and long-term partnerships.

You will also be responsible for supporting ISO internal and external audits, upholding stringent Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality policies to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. Your attention to safety procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and the proactive identification and reporting of risks will contribute to the wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues.

Finally, you will work collaboratively with team leaders and management by providing customer feedback and alerting the organization of any technical or business risks, playing an active role in shaping service excellence within Atlas Copco.

To succeed, you will need

To Succeed, You Will Need:

• Technical secondary education or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Minimum of one year experience in aftermarket industrial product service
• Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical, electronic and electrical systems; familiarity with PLC, Fieldbus, and Ethernet is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office and general PC skills
• Effective communication skills with basic English proficiency
• A customer-focused outlook with results-driven, independent work ethic
• Team collaboration skills alongside an ability to quickly learn and respond to urgent situations

Job location

You will be based at our customer center located in Anhui, China. This role involves joining a dynamic field service team where you will operate primarily remotely, requiring regular travel to various customer sites within your designated region. This gives you the opportunity to engage extensively with clients, understand their unique needs firsthand, and ensure exceptional hands-on support.
