Your role

Build and manage an efficiant and professional procurment team including direct & indirect sourcing, purchasing (operational buy), project sourcing and supplier quality engineer team. Strengthen the procurement through effective talent management - recruitment, retention, objective development, etc.Implement the development/tranining plan for the procurement team. 
Propose and roll out direct and indirect procurement strategy for PC NOY , with attention to the different business requirements of standard & non-standard and all present NOY Brands of products, in order to achieve the goals in terms of total cost, quality,innovation,sustainability and with the optimal supply chain including agiligty and shorter lead time. 
Oversee a clear plan for each categoty in line with present and future business needs, within the PC and where applicable in line with marketing/product requirements and interests of other entities within the Group, developing a rational, professional and sustainable supplier base. 
Improve the procurement performance in terms of supplier cost reduction, supplier on time delivery improvement, supplier lead times reduction, supplier DPPM reduction. 
Negotiate and contractualize with the suppliers the best commercial terms as well as the optimized logistics conditions
Concept to product management: 
A.    To understand market intelligent and help product company engineering team take the product from idea to reality
B.    To propose and roll out procurement strategy by product and ensuring a strong level of competency to ensure a highly competitive portfolio which meets time, cost & quality targets.
C.    To source and develop a world class supply chain towards our product at the lowest net working capital for the company and best performance of the product. 
D.    Actively work with Product Company engineering teams including New Product Introduction and Technical Support, focus on cost reductions. Make costs transparent for main standard products produced in NOY. Concentrate on consolidated cost pictures.
Manage the SHEQ team to develop quality targets and measures for all approved suppliers and monitor the quality performance of the supply chain. Initiate, control and evaluate corrective and preventive actions with impact on products and drive continuous improvements from supply chain
Ensure that our suppliers are compliant to Atlas Copco COC in term of high quality, ethics, environmental and social 
As part of the Business Continuity Plan, identify the critical suppliers/parts in commodity in product and develop the actions to mitigate the risks for the company. Install an active supply chain management with focus on risk spreading and mitigation.
Improve the procurement processs and tools, reduce the non added value tasks of the procurement department by increasing the digitalization. Be onwer of procurment procedure, support on internal and external audit and inspection.
Interact with the other buyers of group to find potential synergies and get more leverages with common suppliers.

  • Education level:Bachelor Degree, major in mechanicial engineering or equivalent
  • Relevant Previous experience (minimum years of experience to competently carry out the role, not total year of experience) 5 years of related working experience is required(Sourcing and supplier quality management),  working experience in vacuum application is preferred
  • Knowledge areas/Skills (minimum level of knowledge to fullfil the role’s responsibilities)
    Famliar with Vaccum, mechanical commodities and ERP system
  • Other requirements (e.g. Language skills; competencies; expected travel requirements)
    Excellent written and verbal English skills
    Change management experience to make change happen
    Team player, interface well with upper managers, peers, subordinates, supplier and customers. 
    Strong communication, presentation skills.
