Software Engineer

Your role

As an Software Engineer your mission is to drive the development of reliable and scalable system solutions for vacuum equipment and automation applications, delivering innovative software that enables efficient machine control, data connectivity, and an excellent customer experience.You will report to Engineering Manager, System.
You will:

• System Solution Design & Architecture Development：
  Analyze customer requirements and design overall software solutions. Develop modular and scalable PC-based control system architectures using technologies such as C#/WPF, Python/PyQt, or LabVIEW, and define motion control, I/O interaction, and data acquisition frameworks.
• Software Development & Protocol adaptation：
  Develop core control software for multi-axis motion control, machine vision integration, and process automation. Implement communication interfaces with PLCs, sensors, and industrial instruments, supporting protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU, CANopen, EtherCAT, and OPC UA.
• System Commissioning & Project Delivery：
  Lead software and hardware integration testing and troubleshooting, resolving issues related to communication latency, signal interference, and multi-thread synchronization. Participate in FAT/SAT activities, support equipment acceptance, customer training, and after-sales technical services.
• Data exchange & functional Optimization：
  Develop HMI and data visualization applications for real-time production data acquisition, analysis, and MES integration. Continuously optimize software performance, system reliability, and user experience through iterative improvements.
• Documentation & Standardization：
  Prepare software requirement specifications, design documents, operating manuals, and commissioning guidelines. Promote software development standardization and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

To succeed, you will need

• Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience on customized automation equipment solution in the independent development and delivery, with proven capability to drive projects implementation and completion.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in multi-threading, network and database programming (SQL), familiar with servo, stepper motors and various industrial control devices; candidates with experience in machine vision or MES system development will be given priority.
• English: good at reading and written, fluent spoken Engilish is a plus.
• Vacuum engineering knowledge or experiance is a plus.
