Your role

As a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality technical support across the UK. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and external customers, helping to solve problems, improve products, and ensure a seamless experience.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same, you’ll combine technical expertise with communication and problem-solving skills to make a real impact.

  • Providing technical support to customers and internal teams across the UK
  • Responding to technical queries and troubleshooting issues
  • Supporting remote commissioning and updates of Optimizer projects
  • Assisting with spare parts enquiries and delivering related training
  • Monitoring technical support systems, calls, and databases
  • Reviewing and analysing warranty claims and enquiries
  • Investigating product issues and identifying solutions
  • Working closely with product teams to share feedback and drive improvements
  • Delivering product training to internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting field engineers through training planning and coordination
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and ad-hoc projects

Your Skills and experience

  • Experience within a mechanical and/or electrical engineering environment
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Confidence using computer systems and managing administrative tasks
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Willingness to travel across the UK (and occasionally overseas)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
