Product Manager VSS - Service Upgrades

Your role
As a Product Manager, your mission is to act as the primary interface between the Service Division, North American customers, and regional sales teams, with a particular focus on remanufactured products, upgrades, and service plans. The role supports the sales organization in communicating the technical and commercial value of service offerings, enabling customer adoption, revenue growth, and margin expansion.
You will
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitive offerings, and industry developments across North America.
- Identify business opportunities for remanufactured products, upgrades, and service plans.
- Provide insights on competitive positioning, pricing, and customer value drivers to support divisional decision-making.
- Assess market attractiveness and regional growth opportunities to support service revenue and margin expansion.
- Ensure customer-facing materials, case studies, value calculators, presentations, and collateral are available and relevant to the North American market.
- Translate technical capabilities into clear customer value propositions focused on uptime, cost of ownership, performance enhancement, sustainability, and lifecycle extension.
- Develop regional value messaging and sales tools that help accelerate customer adoption and commercial success.
- Identify priority products and service offerings based on market potential, installed base opportunities, and regional business objectives.
- Deliver product, application, and value-based selling training to sales and service teams.
- Act as the regional subject matter expert for service offerings and market applications.
- Monitor regional pricing, competitive benchmarks, and customer value perception.
- Provide recommendations on pricing strategies, positioning, and commercial models to improve competitiveness and profitability.
To succeed, you will need
Background and Qualification
- B.S. degree in a technical related discipline is preferred or equivalent experience in technical product marketing or product management support role.
- 5–10+ years in product management, service engineering, or technical marketing
- Experience in semiconductor equipment, subsystems, or industrial service environments
- Proven experience managing product lifecycle, business cases, and cross-functional programs
Knowledge areas/Skills:
- Strong understanding of installed base service models and lifecycle value creation
- Ability to translate technical issues into commercial opportunities and customer value
- Financial acumen: pricing, margins, forecasting, and ROI modeling
