Your role

As a Service Sales Engineer, your mission is to maximize the sustainable growth of our Service business across the Great Lakes territory, by promoting solution sales of all service products to new and existing customers, in accordance with agreed business plans.  You will report to the VTS Sales Manager of the Eastern Region.

You will:

•    Promote, upsell and increase our market share for all service products. Service Plans, pump Exchanges, Certified units, Field Services and Parts / Oil. 
•    To strategically grow the business through the analysis and development of our pump install base.
•    Expand market share by proactively seeking new customers.
•    Plan and prioritize sales activities, managing your time and productivity.
•    Creating service plans and quotations by using our internal quoting tool.
•    Capture and maintain sales data in our CRM platform, using it as your daily sales tool. This includes the planning of appointments, visit reports, leads, opportunities and quotations.
•    Develop and maintain good customer relationships at all levels within the territory and ensure an excellent standard of aftermarket service is provided.

You will have at least 3 years of direct sales experience, selling service or capital equipment. You will also have: 

  • A High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • The ability to exhibit a hunting mentality when sourcing for leads and pursuing goals.
  • Must exhibit strong strategic thinking skills to build a long-term plan for each customer and the territory overall.
  • Strong negotiating and presentation skills.

Job location

This role is homebased within the Great Lakes region to support the territory, allowing you the flexibility to work from home and properly support our customers. The preferred location is in Ohio. We value results over location and provide the tools and support you need to succeed from any location.
