Your day-to-day

Bring your curiosity to work as our next Sales Specialist. You will be part of our Sales team reporting to the Vice President of Sales. In this role, your mission is to provide technical product expertise to drive sustainable profitable growth of our trade products including Flowguard and Griffco dampeners, SkoFlo Flow control valves, Flow Technology and LitreMeter flow meters.You will contribute directly to how we create solutions for our customers.

 

You will:

    • Provide application, technical, and quoting support to sales teams, enabling accurate product selection and high-quality customer proposals in accordance with established pricing and commercial guidelines.
    • Coordinate with manufacturing partners and suppliers to support product availability, technical requirements, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
    • Prepare, review, and support quotations and bid documentation to ensure technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements.
    • Support strategic and key customer accounts by providing advanced product knowledge and technical assistance in coordination with assigned sales representatives.
    • Deliver product training, coaching, and demonstrations to internal teams and select customers to elevate product knowledge and application capability across the organization.
    • Support order execution by assisting with purchase order review, clarification of requirements, and resolution of technical or commercial issues.

Your skills and experience

Experience:

  • Experience with positive displacement pumps, flow meters, and flow control valves is preferred.
  • Proven experience calculating discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A or B.S) preferably in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mathematics or Science or equivalent work experience in a related field

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Greens Road office in Houston, Texas.
