Field Service Engineer / Technician, level I, Local-SFS1

Your day-to-day
- Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs following established procedures, checklists, and safety requirements.
- Assist with pump evaluations, disassembly/inspection, and reassembly activities under guidance; use inspection tools and gauges as trained.
- Support basic troubleshooting and start-up assistance; escalate complex or non-routine issues to senior technicians/management with clear notes and findings.
- Document work performed (service reports, work orders, test data, parts used) accurately and timely.
- Occasional local travel to customer sites for repairs and support.
Your skills and experience
- Minimum of 2 years related mechanical experience and/or training preferred
- Must be fluent in English.
- Basic mechanical skills to evaluate and repair pumps and related mechanical equipment with guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures, complete checklists, and learn to use inspection and test equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.

Your location
You will be part of our customer center in Houston, Texas on Greens Road. You join a field service team that works close to our customers, where approximately 50% of your time is spent traveling to customer sites after training is complete.
